Is there some way to reduce the additional scaling Citrix adds to the virtual desktop (the display scaling option is not available in settings within the virtual desktop)? Or alternatively, is there a way to force Citrix to adopt Windows scaling and resolution so that the fuzzyness is removed? I have tried reducing my Windows scaling to 100%, but this does not fix the issue. To save even more time, you can bypass Task View and press Windows key+Ctrl+D to create a new desktop. Once you open Task View, you’ll see a layout of your open applications and an option to create a new desktop at the top of the screen. Disabling high DPI returns the virtual desktop to 150% scaling, matching my system configuration, but the desktop appears fuzzy. Task View can also be opened by pressing the Windows key+Tab. When I load Citrix, the virtual desktop appears on my monitor with scaling of maybe 300% and is unusable. This allows you to switch between 1 and 2 on one monitor and between 3 and 4 on the other, without updating the. For example have desktop 1 and 2 on minotor one and have desktop 3 and 4 on monitor two. On Mac its possible to have separate virtual desktops per monitor. I only use the virtual desktop on the 3440x1440 external monitor. I recently got myself a good Windows work laptop again and come from a Mac. The scaling on the 3440x1440 display is set to 150%. I will remove Linux from my laptop immediately.I recently installed Workspace for Windows 2206 and have since had scaling issues. I wasn't expecting a reply to be honest, as most companies just ignore my messages. I'm still running on one display, covered in four screens worth of icons! I need a Sat-Nav to find my way around it! Hahaha :D Less energy, lower bills, Greta Thunberg won't shout at me etc. As you may know, Windows 10 currently requires multi-monitor users to have the same virtual desktops for both displays, which could be a problem when you want to have a separate virtual desktop. Total of 4 virtual desktops simultaneously. I have two virtual desktops on my laptop's built-in screen and another two virtual desktops open on the external monitor. I actually have four virtual desktops (or at least I used to, but gave up on them in the end). * How this came about, and how to save the planet! Hahaha :D Go to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar and select the Task view toggle to enable the taskbar button. Use Task view to switch between desktops, add new desktops, rename desktops, move apps, and more. * When I switch to desktop (B) I get the current "magic" features you already provide, but unfortunately I also get all of the icons for both (A) and (B) and not just for (B). Select the Task view shortcut on the taskbar or press Win + Tab to open it. Task View shows all virtual desktops and the open windows on the current desktop. It has icons on it for Word, Excel, Ad-hoc inhouse software, Visual Studio plus other work related icons. * I have two virtual desktops (A and B) hypothetically now, as they don't work for me. In a bit more detail, this would be a game changer for a hell of a lot of Windows users :Ĭould we have virtual desktops that treat icons the same way as physical multiple screens do, and hold their own sets of icons?
